2010 Sale Results

2010 marked the 5th annual Hagan Performance & Ranch horse Sale and thanks to many great people was another huge success. We as a family feel very blessed; we put an amazing amount of work into both riding and marketing theses horses. We started with awesome horses, took great photos, made a unique catalogue and this year we also made mad dash to Alberta the week before the sale but non of this is possible without all of great friends and WE MEAN THAT!  Thank you to Jay Sibald and family for hosting us and letting us be part of your lives for a few days.

10 of the 11 horses in the sale were raised within 100 miles of our yard and we are very proud of our local horses! All of our horses went to great homes and some of them with beautiful scenery to boot!
We are very proud to say that we not only had 3 repeat buyers again this year but also we both bought and sold from our friends and neighbours’. These are the things we use as a gauge for our progress and take them as the ultimate compliment!

2010 sale results are as follows:
Sale average was $7,300.00
We are very proud to say that our high seller was the 7 year old buckskin mare Ruby-Jean. She sold for $10,900 to repeat buyers and friends; Holy & John Cowell of Harlem Montana. Ruby Jean was raised by our friends Craig and Lori Frondall of Neepawa.   

Runner up was the big bay gelding; Zeus. He sold for $10,000 to Walt Kimble of Millerville Alberta. Zeus was also local as he was purchased at Rick Wiebe’s sale in Brandon. We are proud to say that Walt was ranching on Zeus an hour after we dropped him off and loved him.

           (Raised by and purchased from Blaine Peel Minota Mb)

Hagan family is very proud to present another strong group of horses this year. There are very few guarantees in the horse world, but one you can count on is that these horses are what we say they are. Our goal is to promote and showcase locally bred horses by offering for sale mentally and physically sound trainable horses.

All Hagan sale horses have been moved into the ranch program first before taking on any other jobs. With this strong foundation, the prospective buyer can feel comfortable pursuing any discipline. By placing these horses in stressful, strenuous and out-of-the-ordinary situations, we are able to test them mentally and physically, preparing them for future training. All of these horses offered are presented to you with confidence, excitement and honour. Hopefully, you will find a horse that suits your needs.
